Haven Humane Society has been caring for lost, homeless and abused animals in the Redding, California, area for 70 years. Haven is a charitable non-profit organization that is privately funded by our community, and believes all animals deserve love and respect and that it’s our responsibility to be their advocates.
We are very proud to have earned a reputation for providing the gold standard in quality animal care throughout Shasta County and beyond. Haven Humane was awarded the Lifesaving Luminary Award from Best Friends Animal Society, and the Points of Light Foundation certification for outstanding volunteer program. Our biggest reward comes from giving animals a safe haven, providing medical care, love and training to help them transition to happy lives in loving homes.
