We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive, and fun DVM to lead our outstanding team!
The Managing DVM is responsible for providing medical leadership for the hospital, managing associate veterinarians, and assuring regulatory compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine. The Managing DVM is also responsible for creating an environment of teamwork in which quality medicine is delivered.
In partnership with the Hospital Manager, the Managing DVM is responsible for the financial performance of the hospital, preparing operating and capital budgets, and meeting budget expectations. In addition, the Hospital Manager and Managing DVM are responsible for directing staff and the overall management of the practice, under the direction of NVA Divisional Leadership.

Our facility was designed by veterinarians and our 2-story building has been retrofitted specifically to be a veterinary hospital with ample treatment and surgical space, outfitted for progressive medicine. We are located just outside Portland, Oregon in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. The area offers multiple activities for outdoor enthusiasts including hiking, camping, fishing, boating, and skiing. Wind down with an abundance of boutique shopping, artisan markets, craft breweries and vineyards , and farm-to-table dining. Qualifications
A desire to learn, grow, and be an unwavering champion for animal welfare in the community.
DVM license in Oregon, in good standing or be able to obtain such licensing prior to starting.
Exceptional communication skills with clients, peers, and staff.
Passion for learning and improvement and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Support all other medical personnel, including veterinary technicians and assistants, and help guide as a mentor to develop the clinical staff.
Confidence and proficiency in dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine.
