The town of Conway is stunningly beautiful. We are 20 minutes from 5 ski areas in the White Mountains with endless hiking, campgrounds, and lakes (ice fishing).  We are ranked as one of the best places to live in the US. 

Conway Veterinary Hospital, built in 2018,  is gorgeous with 4 exam rooms, an isolation ward, and great equipment including digital whole body and dental, ultrasound, separate dog and cat areas, bionet monitors, and high-speed dental drill. Our owner, Dr. Cassell is taking a 1-year advanced dentistry class.  She would like to teach this to our new veterinarian.

-our staff is highly trained and independent; we have three ‘huddles/each day:’ morning, midday, and afternoon to see who may need extra help. This helps us identify potential snags in the schedule and proactively fix them

-we get to see a wide variety of case-mix; the nearest referral center is 1-1/4 hrs. away in Portland.

-our veterinarian schedule alternates a 4-day week with a 3-day week.

-we have strong referral relationships.

-our owner regularly asks staff “how could I have done that better?”

Compensation and Benefits:

-Guaranteed base and 21 % production to $150K depending on experience.

-100% health insurance with Anthem, $2500 CEU plus time off, 401K, relocation expenses, cover licenses, professional liability, national holidays, 2-3 weeks’ vacation
