Bayshore Animal Hospital is a privately owned single doctor small animal practice. We have 2 locations, Ormond Beach and Port Orange Florida. We currently have positions open for a full or part-time Associate Veterinarian at both our Ormond Beach location and our Port Orange location.

Both locations offer a capable and caring staff, full surgical suite, full dental care, laboratory, hospitalization abilities including oxygen, digital radiography, fully integrated and connected Avimark medical software, telephonic EKG. We work well with local referral hospitals if the need arises and echocardiography can be scheduled and performed at either location by a Board Certified Cardiologist.

We are a fully staffed, patient-focused, client-oriented team that values modern medicine and old-fashioned service.  No emergency or weekend hours, all emergencies are referred to a local ER.  Life health and happiness of our team is valued and encouraged. Bayshore Animal Hospital – Port Orange is an established fully staffed hospital that been serving Port Orange since 1982.  It has always been a single doctor practice, but in the recent years it has grown to accommodate 2 doctors.  We have no desire to become a large multi-doctor practice but we believe that we can officially add a doctor while maintaining our friendly, family-style feel that our clients love and appreciate.  This position is ideal for both well-experienced individuals or those who wish to have some mentoring and sharing of ideas about client service and patient needs.

Qualifications for our Ormond Beach practice include:  General practice, moderate level internal medicine, soft tissue routine surgery, dentistry, able to perform in solo-doctor environment, steady and content personality, more advanced surgeries may be performed at out Port Orange location, moderate emergency/triage knowledge and ability, licensed in the state of Florida, USDA accredited, competent in English language.
