Come join our fantastic team at Maine Veterinary Medical Center, a Level One VECCS certified hospital! We are looking for an experienced Hospital Manager to help manage the day-to-day operations of the hospital.
Oversees Client Services function.
Partners and leads Client Services Supervisory staff.
Serves as a member of the management team.
Analyzes and troubleshoots complex problems, then proposes solutions or recommendations.
Oversees the day-to-day operations of MVMC’s communication services, specifically the client service and liaison functions, as it relates to daily client flow and hospital flow.
Directs and oversees on-the-job training to develop employee skill sets while also providing continuing education opportunities to client service and liaison employees.
Resolves informal client issues, maintains, and reports on these issues.
Assists in the development and delivery of CCS & Liaison employee evaluations while aligning employees to MVMC’s performance standards for client service.
Handles communication of financial information to clients and doctors.
Collaborates with other service supervisors for CCS and Liaisons.
Facilitates Client Specialist and Liaison meetings.
Oversees IT operations and staff
Oversees Facility operations and staff
Facilitates tours/ onboarding for new CCS/ liaison staff
Partner with our Referral Veterinarian Outreach Coordinator to relationship build with our referring partners and hospitals

Maine Veterinary Medical Center (MVMC) is a VECCS level one certified Rarebreed practice, located in Scarborough, Maine. MVMC’s 20,000 sq ft, state of the art facility, with manicured landscaping, a generous fenced in yard and walking trails won the 2010 Hospital Design People's Choice Award and has been featured in many hospital design advertisements. MVMC has full in-house lab capabilities, a fluoroscopy suite for interventional procedures, a helical 16 slice CT, MRI, digital radiography, in-house telemetric monitoring, ultrasound, advanced surgical procedures, and endoscopy. MVMC employs 3 neurologists, 4 internists, 3 surgeons, 2 oncologists, 5 criticalists, an ophthalmologist, a radiologist, a rehabilitation veterinarian and a great team of emergency clinicians to offer advanced services to our client base.

Bachelor’s degree required.
6+ years of progressive experience in health care management
4+ years of prior management & leadership experience
Budget and planning experience.
