 The Location: 

Pet Care Specialists is located in Columbus, Nebraska. Columbus is a beautiful community of 22,000 located in central Nebraska. Residents of Columbus enjoy fishing, hunting, boating, golfing, biking and other forms of recreation

What You'll Be Working On

  • Build and maintain client relationships and educate clients on treatment options
  • Preventative wellness care, diagnostics and treatments on a variety of small animal cases
  • Perform small animal surgeries and dental procedures with opportunities for mentorship
  • Guide and utilize exceptional support team as we grow together

 

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M)
  • Licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Nebraska 
  • Experience with wellness care exams, dentistry, radiology, and internal medicine 
  • Preference to someone with surgery and ultrasound experience
  • Highly motivated with a demonstrated passion for excellence and continuous learning
  • Willing to work rotating Saturday 9-noon shift currently every 3rd week
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity 
  • Leader who has attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Self-motivated and compassionate
