Join our team of happy faces and start enjoying your career!  We are looking for a new or recent graduate that would like to have a long term relationship with us.  You will be able to learn new skills and practice high quality medicine and surgery, while potentially expanding your areas of special interest.  We stress quality over quantity and therefore, instead of the typical 15 minute appointment slots, we have 30 minute appointments so that our doctors can take a thorough history, do a full physical examination, and then present a game plan for treatments.  We have three full time veterinarians and they are all prepared to offer guidance or second opinions on your cases. 

Our hospital is AAHA Certified and our Medical Director is an ABVP Diplomate.  If you are looking for a great place to practice,  to learn new techniques, and use the best equipment, then email me now!

Full time or part time applicants will be accepted.  Must have a DVM or equivalent degree and must be licensed in Maryland or will register for the State Board examination in Maryland

About St. Charles Animal Hospital
St. Charles Animal Hospital is an AAHA hospital located in Southern Maryland. We pride ourselves as practicing the highest quality medicine and surgery in the area. We have 30 minute appointment slots and take our time taking a good history and doing a good physical examination. Our clients appreciate the honest opinions that we offer and, when appropriate, the therapy choices that are available. We have a complete in-house laboratory and try to get blood work done while the client is waiting. We have digital radiography and digital dental radiography. We have a great ultrasound machine, multiple Olympus endoscopes, laparoscopy, and have lots of advanced orthopedic equipment. Additionally, we have Laser Surgery and Laser Therapy equipment. For our orthopedic patients, we also have an Underwater Treadmill. This is a great hospital to learn new procedures, hone your skills, and develop your own areas of interest.
