Seeking confident, caring veterinary surgeons for Humane Ohio, a high-quality, high volume, low cost, nonprofit stationary Spay/Neuter Clinic based on the gold standard ASPCA® Spay/Neuter Alliance model. PT or FT available in a Toledo, Ohio clinic that performs over 19,000 sterilizations per year for dogs and cats. Owned pets, shelter & rescue pets, and community cats are all seen on a daily basis. Competitive wages and FT positions receive paid time off, a CE allowance, and access to medical and dental benefits. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:30am -4 pm, or 4-10 hour shifts may be available. No on-call, no weekends required. We are moving to a spacious, efficient new clinic this fall and are looking to add veterinarians to the team!
Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the State of Ohio, or able to obtain such. Able to efficiently perform over 30 spay/neuter surgeries per day, or quickly be trained to do such. Able to stand for hours, bend, squat, lift up to 40 pounds without assistance and up to 100 pounds with assistance. Able to perform physical exams on dogs and cats, including fractious animals.
