Southern Veterinary Center is seeking a Managing Veterinarian (MDVM) to join our growing team!
Southern Veterinary Center is a progressive, multi-doctor, hospital just southeast of Nashville providing general care, surgery, grooming, and boarding in a professional and fun environment. Our practice has been serving dogs and cats in the Smyrna area for over 40 years and is Gold Level Feline Friendly certified. A majority of our employees have worked with the practice for over 20 years and we see extremely low turnover as a result of our strong interpersonal relationships. Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education. Our ideal candidate will have an interest in surgery & dentistry, and possess strong communication skills. No after-hours emergencies! Skills and Basic Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which applicant is to be employed.
Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
Leads employees by coaching, correcting, developing, and motivating them to achieve success.
Manages time and tasks appropriately.
Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients.
3 years of experience working as a Veterinarian - Required
