With an internship you get to do all of the work and receive little or none of the compensation? Why not get paid for your hard work and dedication. Think you may want a second opinion now and then? We typically have three veterinarians scheduled at all times. All of our veterinarians are willing to mentor a new graduate or pitch in to help one another. Our well-seasoned veterinarians are also glad to learn the latest techniques from our newer graduates. We have a flexible schedule and can welcome a new associate full or part-time.
We offer a great base salary with an even better % production bonus for any veterinarian who is willing to work. Starting salary is dependent on experience and a production bonus is calculated quarterly. Talented new graduates can make a six-figure salary a reality straight out of veterinary school. We need to add an additional team member who can appreciate cutting edge medicine and surgery. We would be willing to hire a seasoned pro or a new graduate that is willing to make lasting client connections. We want to develop long-term relationships. Enjoy plenty of down time. Our full-time veterinarians work from 27 to 42 hours weekly with a 3-day weekend every third week. No emergency duty.
You should have more than enough help to assist you in your every endeavor. Total staff numbers run from 30 to 40 talented individuals dependent on the time of the year. Most of our staff members have been with us for years and can prove to be quite an asset. Our clients demand the latest in up to date medicine and surgery and we strive to provide it.
The clinic is over 10,000 square feet and is stocked with some of the finest equipment and a well-stocked pharmacy. We have several registered technicians as well as career veterinary assistants. The practice has IDEXX digital radiography, an endoscope, a Rhinoscope, Heska chemistry, Hematology, Ultrasound, complete plating and pinning surgical equipment, not to mention cryosurgery and a Tono pen.
