The Cat Clinic at Cat Care Society is a full service feline hospital in Lakewood, Colorado. The Cat Clinic is under new management and has a positive "can do" culture that is backed by a strong teamwork ethic. Our medical team works hard every day for our feline patients and we are looking for a doctor to add to our great group.
Cat Care Society is a unique haven for cats and cat lovers alike. CCS is a limited-intake no-kill feline-only shelter that offers many wonderful and life saving programs to cats in the Denver and surrounding communities. We are seeking a Veterinarian, either full time or part time. The Cat Clinic offers quality veterinary services at affordable prices. We also offer subsidized care to cats whose owners cannot afford necessary medical care. The Cat Clinic also provides all medical care to our shelter cats. We pride ourselves on providing thorough and quality medical care to every cat who comes to Cat Care Society.
Currently, our services include: wellness/preventive care, diagnostic examinations, laboratory (including in-house Idexx analyzers), digital x-ray, ultrasound, dentistry including dental x-ray, oral surgery (extractions), spay/neuter surgery, soft-tissue surgery, pharmacy, and soon-to-be an online store as well.
We are looking for an experienced veterinarian who has worked in a clinic and also preferably a shelter setting. Most importantly, we are looking for a doctor who enjoys working with cats and who is excited to work with our life-saving non-profit group. We are looking for a veterinarian who is willing to help the Society grow and expand the clinic business and provide exceptional care for the shelter cats.
DVM or equivalent degree required. License in good standing with the applicable state veterinary board required. Proven ability to perform all basic surgeries, including use of all standard medical instruments and equipment. License with the Drug Enforcement Agency required.
Our clinic is currently open Tuesday-Saturday. Work schedule is negotiable.
Compensation will be discussed during the interview process. The veterinarian will receive a base salary, vacation/sick time, and benefits package (health & dental insurance) for full-time employment. A bonus structure is being implemented - inquire for details.
A part time DVM will receive a base salary and vacation/sick time.

Cat Care Society (CCS) was founded in 1981 by Linda East, DVM and Lynn Rowe. CCS is a nonprofit organization and was established in order to improve the quality of life for homeless, injured and abused cats in the Denver metropolitan area. The Society's goals are:
