Emergency Doctors Wanted
Eastend Veterinary Hospital is hiring for their Emergency Departments. We are seeking full-time, internship-trained or equivalently experienced emergency clinicians to work day, swing, and overnight shifts at our 24 hour/7day a week emergency, critical care and referral facilities located in Riverhead, NY.
The right candidates will have friendly demeanors, excellent communication skills, a solid work ethic and teamwork attitudes. We gladly offer service to cases that require outpatient supportive care treatment as well as those that require work ups of academic level difficulty. Support staff consists of dedicated and skilled nursing teams, as well as highly trained pharmacy and client service representatives.
Our hospitals are equipped with multi-parameter monitors that provide continuous ECG, pulse oximetry, capnography, and blood pressure. We also have in-house laboratories that perform CBCs through coags to cross-matching. Each location is equipped with defibrillators, ultrasonography and full pharmacies.
On-staff specialties include acupuncture, anesthesiology & pain management, avian and exotics, behavior, cardiology, clinical nutrition, dentistry & oral surgery, dermatology & allergy, internal medicine, interventional radiology, neurology & neurosurgery, oncology (medical & radiation and integrative), ophthalmology, physical rehabilitation, radiology, sports medicine, and surgery. We also provide an in-network, complimentary patient transport service to ensure access to all specialties and services. Grand rounds are conducted every morning allowing each patient to benefit from the experience and expertise of our entire staff. We are actively involved in teaching through our internship and residency programs.
