Our busy small animal / exotic practice in Alexandria LA is seeking a full time associate veterinarian. Our practice is customer service oriented and emphasizes compassionate care and high-quality medicine and surgery. We encourage diagnostic work ups through in-house labs, digital radiology and ultrasound. We welcome consultation with specialists and work with a traveling board certified surgeon for difficult surgeries. We have a great support team which allows for doctors to focus on their patients. We place a high importance on communication, collaboration between doctors and staff, and strive for a positive, caring atmosphere. While most of our patients are cats and dogs, we also see most species of exotics (if an applicant is interested). Applicants for this position should be self-motivated, have a desire to practice high quality medicine, and provide excellent customer service. Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team are required. Also required are: a license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Louisiana, strong medical knowledge, and surgical experience.

Our brand new facility is over 4500 square feet with separate surgery suite and dental area, 4 exam rooms, digital radiology, ultrasound, and dental radiology. We see mostly small animals, but have the clientele for reptiles, birds, and pocket pets.
