To be chosen for our internship an onsite interview will be required. Best case scenario, we would like a two day working interview, however, we understand that 4th year students may have limited time availability.

Wide variety of large and small animal cases including surgery, medicine, acupuncture, theriogenology (equine and canine), emergency, ambulatory and in hospital, bovine medicine. Also are seeing exotic animals
We recognize that each intern will have stronger interests in certain areas of veterinary medicine; however; it will be required that the intern rotates amongst doctors and cases equally. If certain cases arise that spark the interest of the intern or could be a more beneficial learning experience, switching doctors will be allowed.
Assist doctor with exams, diagnostics, treatments, emergency responsibilities, and paperwork (including record keeping)
Responsible for overnight patient care
Onsite apartment available to stay in as needed for cases
Intern will eventually transfer to primary care veterinarian as skill level improves (2-3mo). This will include primary emergency care
